Kelly Clarkson's Baby Getting a Head Start on Music Career
Okay, so maybe her baby is not exactly singing lyrics on her new album, but Kelly Clarkson's little girl, River Rose, is making her musical contribution.
The seven-month-old baby girl can be credited for the rhythm of Clarkson's new single “Heartbeat Song,” in which the beat heard in the background is actually River Rose's heartbeat from when she was in Clarkson's pregnant belly.
Clarkson admits that she almost thought motherhood would sabotage her musical career, but now she says that being a mother has made things better than ever before. The thirty-two-year old singer confessed that she talked to husband Brandon Blackstock a lot about how her voice was suffering as well as being unsure about what to do with her life.
Speaking on the Z100 Morning Show with Elvis Duran, Clarkson pictured giving birth to River Rose and the little baby screaming at Clarkson to “shut up!”
In reality, River Rose seems thrilled to listen to Clarkson's singing and music, and now that the little girl has an appearance on “Heartbeat Song,” she loves it! Clarkson's baby also adores dancing around, even though she is not crawling yet. Adding that River Rose's head is quite “enormous,” Clarkson loves watching her baby groove to the music.
Perhaps River Rose was moving about while inside Clarkson's belly. The singer opened up about her pregnancy being very difficult; full of nausea and sickness. She was actually hospitalized for a bit because of it.
Despite the struggles, Clarkson would like to get pregnant again. In the meantime, she is promoting her new single and has another baby-inspired song, “Piece by Piece,” which will be coming out in in about two months.
